Diner en blanc is arguably a cult-like situation, where everyone dresses in white, meets at a secret location and have a big, pretentious dinner. Mel and I decided to go this year, (over) packed our things and headed Downtown to meet our new crew of amigos. The dinner ended up being in Churchill square and it was super cool. We had a nice dinner that we brought (which made us the cool kids) that consisted of a cheese board, Zucchini Carpaccio and Parmesan Chicken. At 9pm, when it started to get dark, everyone lit up a sparkler and it was amazing. We hung around and danced for a bit, but thats the jist. It was cool, weird, fun and awkward all at the same time, but we will totally go back next year – more prepared and with less baggage!
