7 day VEGAN challenge

so I’m officially a big boy and can stand for something now.

I’ve been going back and forth on being Vegan/Vegetarian for a while now – like 8 months. I have tried both, tried neither, ya know how it goes. but since my off and on veganism, it really, really, REALLY freaks me out when I eat meat now. I made a Risotto yesterday and it has never freaked me out more to cook chicken, and eat it, and knowing that I cooked it is gross to me.

On a similar note, I have tried just being dairy-free and more the most part I am really good – I only ever have milk in my coffee or a latte, and the occasional cheese on top of something I eat. But my skin has been really bad lately, and (I think) it correlates with when I have dairy, sooooooo

I am committing to this (starting tomorrow aka Monday morning) to try a whole week being totally Vegan – which includes when I eat out.

I have some other things that I want to cut out eventually, but this is a big first step and will give me the biggest impact so I think it’s the best place to start!

My 7 day challenge means no meat, no fish, no dairy, no eggs, nothing that has animal products in it (minus clothes – I not quite there yet). So this coming Monday morning to Sunday evening – and then hopefully continuing. I will update here and there, and then write a bigger post at the end.

My next challenge ideas are

  • No Soda
  • I Quit Sugar Challenge
  • Gluten Free Week
  • The USANA RESET (which is 7 days now!)

and then from each of these – I want to see how I feel and how my body reacts, and then move forward healthier and with more knowledge of my body!
